Rotary Club of Lantzville

For a change of scenery and to accomodate some spouses who aren't thrilled with early mornings, the Rotary Club of Lantzville held their October 8th weekly meeting at the Nanaimo & District Museum.

The evening started with great finger food and wine (thanks Cheryl & Nigel) and an opportunity to explore the Museum, including their fascinating exhibit dedicated to Maurice (the Rocket) Richard.

As part of the business of the evening, President Barry presented Debi Trueman, manager of the Museum, with a cheque for $3,333.  This marked the final installment of a $10,000 commitment by the Club to the Museum.
